  • Mission

The YPPT helps young people who face disadvantage and barriers to learning including low self-esteem, special educational needs or difficulties in sustaining positive relationships, helping them develop socially and emotionally while improving their practical and creative skills.
  • Brief history

The charity was founded in 2015 by Jeremy Duschenes, who grew up with puppets and wanted to spread the benefits of this art form to more disadvantaged children. Since then we have run 40 projects in and around London and the Home Counties, involving around 1300 children and young people aged 10-18.
