  • Mission

SongBird Survival aims to halt the decline, sustain, and ultimately improve songbird populations in the UK. Through funding targeted research into the issues surrounding declining songbird numbers, we provide vital evidence to help restore the Dawn Chorus to it's former glory.
  • Brief history

SBS was set up in the late 1990s as a voice for people who felt they were not being heard - the charity has now developed into a fully fledged research organisation, contributing to the evidence base for future wildlife management.
