  • Mission

    Mental Health Wellbeing Hub Renovation Project is being undertaken primarily by Mental Health Service Users and will help them rebuild self confidence, self esteem and develop new skills to equip them to enable them to get back into the job market. When completed it will provide a base to work from.

    A small group of Mental Health Service Users setup Furness Mental Health User Group. They looked for a base to work from in one of these wards: Walney Island, Barrow Island, Central, Hindpool or Ormsgill. They found a base on Barrow Island and setup a registered charity, Furness Mental Health Trust.
